​From safely and strongly working out during all the changes to your body to preparing your body for birth and reconnecting with your core strength postpartum.  Some common issues we can work though are: achey hips and back, tight hips, symphysis pubis dysfunction, posture improvement, diastasis recti prevention and rehab, pelvic floor issues, strengthening and stretching, and more.

Lauren has many talents, and is trained in many modalities, but she has one core ability: she can help you look within yourself, dig deep, and muster the strength you need to step into motherhood with confidence and an open heart.

Hi! I'm Lauren Matthews. 

I'm a certified STOTT Pilates & Yoga Alliance prenatal/postpartum yoga teacher, with over 12 years of experience. 

 

I am also a certified birth and Ayurvedic postpartum doula who is armed with a heart for helping my fellow parents and parents-to-be step into their physical and parental power.

 

A firm believer in the importance of mind-body connection and the holistic benefits of this work, I infuse my teaching with education, enthusiasm, humor and a heart that communicates my faith in the importance and joy of healthy movement.

 

When I'm not on the mat or supporting a birth, you might run into me wandering around Venice, out with my friends, or on an adventure with my son.
